Project Team



This 67,000 square foot facility was the CSU system’s first LEED Platinum project. Sam Clar was responsible for technical furniture planning, procurement, and installation management for all furniture that went into the five floor building including: Including work stations, private office furniture, public and common areas, and formal and informal meeting areas.

Sam Clar worked in partnership with Allsteel (furniture manufacturer) and the CSUEB project team, to review and select an existing purchasing contract already approved within the CSU/UC System. This step insured full compliance with CSU procurement procedures, however avoided a costly, time-consuming, and redundant bid-process.
